CONGRESS ON ONLINE REPUTATION, AUTOMATION AND SURVEILLANCE AT WORK AND FUNDAMENTAL RIGHTS

The Internacional Conference on Automation, Monitoring and Surveillance at Work and Fundamental Rights will take place at the Faculty of Law of the University of Valencia on the 12th and 13th September 2019 and is organized by the Platform Economy and Digital Transformation Cathedra in collaboration with the Valencian Regional Government European Commission.

The topics that will be addressed are:

  1. Survillance, monitorization and data protection rights (RGDP)
  2. GPS, Werables, electronic monitoring of performance and other technologies of control.
  3.  Online reputation, profiling and costumer’s evaluations of workers and freelancers.
  4. Automatic decisions and the right for an explanation in social recruiting and dismissals
  5.  Health and safety at work and technology. New physical and psychological risks and the law.

The scientific committee will select 3 communications whose authors will receive a scholarship to cover the trip to the city and the stay during the days of the congress with a limit of 300 euros per person.
