Registration for the course is now open: “Post-Memory of Francoism and the Transition. Looking at our past through art, literature and cinema” that will be held on July 12 and 13 at the International Center of Gandia of the University of Valencia (Calle Tossal 8).
This course is directed and coordinated by Professor Anacleto Ferrer and researcher Lurdes Valls, members of the IUCIE.
It can be understood, first of all, as a social transfer tool in that it will allow us to share the research that, within the field of humanities, is carried out at the university, as well as make those enrolled in the course participate in it.
In addition, the seminar is proposed from an interdisciplinary perspective through which different artistic languages will be worked on from an innovative perspective that is committed to the importance of intermediality in order to understand and account for such complex phenomena as the social and cultural memory of the political violence. With this seminar, we intend to provide the participants/students with an overall vision that will allow them to more rigorously analyze the memorial products that surround them.
