Next Thursday, April 11th, the course titled Estrategias para hablar en público (Strategies for public speaking), organised by the Chair for Integral Management and Resource Recovery of Wastewater (DAM Chair) will take place, and its goal is to improve public communication.
The course will be given by Professor and Communication & Oratory Specialist Mª Teresa Estellés Puchol and it seeks to analyse the elements preventing some people from efficiently speaking in public and developing the necessary resources and strategies to enrich oral interventions. The keys to overcome the fear of public speaking and eliminate communication issues in the work or social field, among others, will be disclosed.
The course’s timetable is from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., in room 2.1 at the Universitat de València’s School of Engineering. To sign up for the course, it’s necessary to send an e-mail to catedradam@uv.es before the 8th of April and vacancies will be conceded in order of registration. The maximum capacity is of 25 students and access to the course is free.
