Next December 19, 2024, at the Faculty of Economics, the 9th Meeting on International Economic Policy will be celebrated. It will be focused on two main topics: the analysis of the economic policies of some countries and economic policies in education.

The Universitat de València and the PESCV Chair will host the celebration of the 9th Meeting on International Economic Policy, which will take place next December 19 2024 in the Faculty of Economics. This event will bring together distinguished academics and professionals in order to discuss and analyse economic policy in the different international contexts, offering a comparative and profound perspective of the measures implemented in the different countries. This year, the meeting will focus on two main topics: the analysis of the economic policies of countries like Russia, Japan, Türkiye, Morocco, Colombia, Spain and Kazakhstan; and economic policies in education. All this while offering a critic and detailed outlook of the strategies used in each context. Professor Luz Dary Ramírez Franco will be in charge of the coordination of the event and will be the contact available and responsible for any new information or enquiries about the meeting.

9:30 a.m. — 10:30 a.m. Session 1 + discussion: Economic Policy in Morocco, Ecuador, Spain and Türkiye.
10:30 a.m. — 12:00 m. Session 2 + discussion: Ethics in the development, distribution and use of Artificial Intelligence. Education and gender equality. The influence of politics in the economic system. Analysing the main Latin American countries.
12:00 m. — 12:30 p.m. Coffee break.
12:30 p.m. — 1:30 p.m. Session 3 + discussion: Economic Policy in Colombia, Japan, Mexico and Kazakhstan.
1:30 p.m. — 2:15 p.m. Session 4 + discussion: Bullying in Spain and its relation with academic performance and mental health. Educative policies to mitigate gender inequality in the labour market between 2012 and 2024 in Mexico.
2:15 p.m. — 2:30 p.m. Closing: Closured by the Secretary of the Conferences and Annual Directory, Professor Antonio Sánchez Andrés.
