Through this Chair, we will carry out research activities about Economic and Social Policies; we will organise seminars and conferences; we will create discussion forums with social and political agents; we will carry out technopolitical studies and reports; and we will encourage publications and activities related to teaching promotion (such as awards given to doctoral theses and to Master's degree final project). Needless to say, all these activities will be related to Economic and Social Policies.

The creation of an Observatory of Technopolitics is expected to be carried out in the midterm. It will be dedicated to recompilation, organisation, systemization and dissemination of the documentation and strategic data related to Economic and Social Policy in the Valencian Community. In addition, the creation of short training and requalification courses will be stimulated. They will be aimed firstly at personnel linked to public administration or politic direction and secondly to the general public, highlighting the aspiration of creating a master's degree about “Economic Policy and Governance”.
