Antonio Sánchez Andrés has been a professor in the Department of Applied Economics since 1987 and Doctor in Economy since 1991. He has specialized in Economic Policy, International Economy, Compared Economic Policy and Methodology in Economic Policy (History of Economic Policy).

He has accomplished the fulfilment of the following academic acts: 90 scientific articles, more than 120 books, various chapters from diverse books, 30 scientific publications and 90 conferences performed in congresses. Furthermore, he has directed 4 doctoral theses and performed more than a hundred research stays abroad. In addition, he has presided over the organizing committee of more than a dozen academic conferences and coordinated various collaboration agreements existing between the Universitat de València and other scientific centres abroad. At the moment, he also coordinates the academic journal Noticias de Política Económica and directs the publishing team of the academic journal International Review of Economic Policy. In short, he hasn’t only dedicated himself to teaching and research, but also, and with the same intensity, to the transfer of knowledge to society in order to open dialogue and debate.
