Professor Olga Gonzalez Morales highlighted how sustainable cities can promote reindustrialization and sustainable urban development, taking into account the model of the Canary Islands and its insular plans.

The visit of professor Olga González Morales, from the Universidad de la Laguna, has raised the question “how are sustainable cities an opportunity in order to carry out the necessary reindustrialization and improve productive systems such as the Spanish system?”. According to the Canarian researcher, the insular plans from her community can be used as an example in order to align automatization with infrastructure for sustainable urban development.
