Foundational values and communication in the family business Nuria Vilanova - ATREVIA

The Chair of the Family Business of the University of Valencia (CEF-UV) has maintained a working breakfast in which Núria Vilanova, president of ATREVIA, has addressed the main conclusions obtained in the report “Foundational values and communication in the family business ”which has been developed in collaboration with the IESE Family Business Chair.

The report draws conclusions when analyzing the role of communication in the field of business linked to the family. Among them, data such as 90% of respondents indicate that family values ​​are reflected in corporate values ​​and are an essential piece (87%) when making decisions and establishing strategies. In this sense, communication strategically planned and linked to business objectives is essential to keep alive the relationship between identity and values. Thus, 80% of entrepreneurs admit that formal communication contributes positively to the evolution and growth of the business.

Núria Vilanova has highlighted the role of “the family business as one of the pillars of our country. The transmission and maintenance of its values ​​is an essential element, a process in which communication plays a key role ”.
