The Resistant documentary: Women after DANA, a production directed by the journalist Elena Morales that collects eight histories of wives that have lived, live or are related with DANA that affected several regions of the province of Valencia the October 29, 2024, especially the South Orchard.

This disaster had an especially hard impact on the wives, that at a lot of cases suffered a double vulnerability. Apart from the loss of homes and bargains, many of them confronted at main difficulties to access at resources and aids, since at a lot of families the cure of dependent persons goes fall on them. Likewise, economic sectors with a tall feminine presence, like the local trade and the culture, were especially hit for the shatter and the stoppage of the activity.
