This third session, entitled 'Destronar el empleo para bienvivir’ [Dethroning employment for a happy life], will be held on May 16th at the Boardroom of the Faculty of Social Sciences.
We begin a new edition of the cycle 'Diálogos desde el conflicto capital/vida' organised by the Chair of Feminist Economics and the University Institute of Women Studies of the Universitat de València.
Under the slogan 'Destronar el empleo para bienvivir', this new meeting will be attended by Amaia Pérez Orozco and Silvia Piris Lekuona, both from the XXK Collective: Feminisms, thinking and action.
Silvia Piris is a sociologist and holds a Master's degree in Equality Agent for Women and Men and in International Cooperation. Amaia Pérez is a doctor in International Economics and Development. Together with her colleague
Valentina Longo, they built the XXK Collective: Feminisms, thinking and action, a project that has feminism as its backbone and from which they aim to contribute to the generation of knowledge and critical thinking useful for social, political, cultural and economic transformation.
Lucía Gómez, lecturer in the Department of Social Psychology at the Universitat de València, co-director of the Master's Degree in Gender and Equality Policies and one of the heads of the Chair of Feminist Economics, will introduce the session together with Ana Belén Lázaro, student of the Master's Degree in Gender and Equality Policies.
The activity will take place on Monday May 16th at 18 h in the Boardroom of the Faculty of Social Sciences, at the Tarongers Campus-UV.
