Sustainable Economics will star again some workshops with the aim of focusing on sustainable living through the contributions of the common good and feminism.
The Chair for Feminist Economics and the Chair for Economy for the Common Good of the Universitat de València, together with the Valencian Department of Sustainable Economy, Productive Sectors, Trade and Labour of the Government of the Valencian Community organise this 2nd Summer School of Sustainable Economy from June 26 to June 28 in the Botanical Garden of the Universitat de València.
The 2nd Summer school consists of three sessions. The first of them, on Monday 26 June, will be about the Dialogues on sustainable living with contributions, experiences and reflections. Next, on Tuesday 27 June, we will have three panel discussions formed by several conferences whose objective is to give response to how should we apply a sustainable economy to SMEs and micro SMEs, analysing the main supplies of the business fabric. Finally, on Wednesday 28 June, Feminist Economy will take the lead with two panel discussions and a closing lecture. These will have the objective of rising awareness about the fights of household and care workers with a vision of the territory and education from the point of view of sustainable living, concluding with the critic reflections of Abya Yala starting with the radical practice of the Good Living.
This 2nd Summer School of Sustainable Economy wants to offer spaces for learning and debating to shape the concept of sustainability, taking into account democracy, economic and social justice, ecological transformation and the proposals made based in the economy of common good and feminism. In this framework, subjects like the following will be developed: sustainability applied to SMEs, finances and insurances, the responsible supply chain, the fight of household and care workers, territory, education and ecofeminism, among other, that affect the production system and the Valencian social reality, in terms of model changing and satisfaction of the human needs linked with the 2030 Agenda.
