The Choir of the Government presents a concert with piano accompaniment and works of authors such as N. Telfer, O. Gjeilo, J.R. Gil-Tárrega, C. Santos, M. Salvador, C. Debussy, L. Boulanger, G. Fauré, etc. For a long time, the Spanish public and the critics recognise the Choir of the Valencian Government as one of the best choral groups of the
country. It was created in 1987 and since 2006 it is the main chorus of the lyrical seasons of the Palau de las Arts.  The Choir of the Valencian Government depends organically of the Sub-direction of Music of the Valencian Institute of Culture.
