The Sala de la Muralla in the Rector Peset Hall of Residence displays a photo essay on the topic of the violation of children’s human rights.
Photojournalist Lucas Vallecillos (Barcelona, 1970), developed this photographic essay around the situation suffered by the Senegalese talibé--children, namely from rural areas, who are entrusted by their parents to daaras, schools dedicated to the teaching of the Quran.
The installation includes 23 photos that reflect the daily lives of these children.
