Alumni UV organises, in collaboration with the Botanical Garden of the Universitat de València, a workshop on plant adaptations to the Mediterranean open to the general public.
The aim of this session is for participants to learn about the concept of plant adaptation to the environment, in particular, plant adaptations to the Mediterranean climate. The activity will begin with a presentation on the Mediterranean climate and its characteristics. The participants will learn how to identify plants, in the laboratory they will see the different adaptations of rosemary and, finally, they will identify different species with the help of a dichotomous key.
Prior registration is required to attend the workshop. The registered person will receive an email with a ticket with a QR code that must be presented at the entrance to the Botanical Garden. This activity is carried out in collaboration with the Didactic Office of the Botanical Garden of the UV. Please arrive 10 minutes before and continue using the hygienic mask and hydroalcoholic gel. Please comply with the public health measures in force of the Conselleria de Sanidad Universal y Salud Pública in the Comunitat Valenciana (Valencian Regional Health Depratment), as a result of the situation caused by Covid-19.
