On Tuesday 19 December at 6:30pm in the Sapiencia Chapel of the La Nau Cultural Centre, the awards ceremony for the 20th edition of the UV Creative Writing Awards will take place, in which the print version of the winning pieces will also be presented. 

The 20th edition of this literary contest received 80 original entries and awarded six prizes: 

• Els dies imparells, in the category of poetry in Valencian, by Carles Llopis Rodríguez, Master’s student in Gender and Equality Policies at the UV.
• son.nets, in the category of poetry in Castilian Spanish, by José Francisco López Blasco, undergraduate student of Art History at the UV.
• La por, el pou i el pèndol, in the category of prose in Valencian, by Aina Torres Latorre, doctoral student of Language, Literature and Culture, and its Applications at the UV.
• Diario para el señor Cabrera, in the category of prose in Castilian Spanish, by Lucas R. Ferri Monfort, undergraduate of Philosophy at the UV.
• El vuelo de las amapolas, in the category of theatre, by José Bohórquez Núñez, undergraduate of Hispanic Studies: Spanish Language and Literature at the UV.
• TRES, in the category of short film script, by Carmen Mármol Ramírez, student of Fine Arts at the Universitat Politècnica de València.

During the act, there will be a screening of 7:36, 7:37, 7:38, by Javier Antonio Castillo Mora, winner of the 19th edition in the category of short film script.

Entry to the awards ceremony and presentation is free until full capacity. 

The UV Creative Writing Awards are an initiative of the Student Council and are organised by the SeDi Information and Promotion Service with the collaboration of the Faculty of Language Studies, Translation and Communication and the Clubs of Literature, Poetry, Performing Arts and Cinema of the Office of the Vice-Principal for Culture and Society.
