The OFUV is looking for percussionists, violinists, viola players and double bass players. In order to join the university orchestra, you will have to pass the auditions, which start on 21 October.

The free pre-registration period is open until 14 October via a form, and the auditions will take place in the Charles Darwin Hall at the Burjassot Campus. The usual practice schedule will be from September to June, every Monday from 7pm to 10pm and every Thursday from 8pm to 10pm, in the Charles Darwin Hall.

Requirements for candidates:

– You cannot be older than 23 years of age

– You must be in the final stages of your professional music studies

– You will have priority if you are also studying at university

What does the orchestra offer?

– Grants for musical training

– Academic recognition for UV students (2 ECTS credits per academic year)

– Academic recognition as an external music internship for students of the Joaquín Rodrigo Music Conservatory in Valencia and the Salvador Seguí Music Conservatory in Castellón (2 ECTS credits per academic year)

– Soloists promotion in chamber or orchestral concerts

– Chamber groups promotion from the orchestra

– Possibility of national and international tours
