The first British space rocket has successfully taken off and returns to Earth, but communication is cut off. Only one of the three astronauts remains on board, and his health, both physical and mental, is seriously damaged. He is placed under observation but his wife takes him out of the hospital, releasing a great threat to humanity, as the survivor is being consumed by an alien force. (Filmaffinity)
