La Nau Theatre

Cartes a Curie (Letters to Curie), by Maquinant Teatre. Drama theatre art management, Isabel Martí.

Cartes a Curie is an intimate spectacle in which two women recover the Marie Curie figure for the need that every human being has of discovering what their contribution to the world in in which they life is.
Through words, music and visual arts, the actresses will recreate Marie Curie in terms of science, affection, a woman in an adverse environment... All of this in order to figure out in which way we can improve the world in which we live. At least we will reflect with the audience.
We will start not only from what the experts tell us about Marie Curie, but also from all the things that Curie suggested about herself and her way of seeing the world in her writings. After this long period of intensive reflection, we may have cleared some questions or maybe, now we have new ones... ¿Shall we play to put them in common?

Colloquium every Wednesday with the companies when the function finishes
Colloquium by Ana Belén Gaspar Pedrós, full professor of the Department of Inorganic Chemistry, Faculty of Chemistry and member of the Institute of Molecular Science (ICMOL) and artistic team of Maquinant Teatre
