The exhibition organised by Museari and Principal Peset Hall of Residence gathers 24 artworks of artists from six different countries, who exhibited in Museari.com throughout the current year, an online museum dedicated to research and art dissemination with a theme that values sexual diversity.

The exhibition falls within the UV’s Pride Day celebration programme impulsat per Diversitats, is supported by the UV’s Office of the Vice-Principal for Culture and Sport and was curated by Ricard Huerta, Universitat de València’s full university professor of Teaching of Visual Expression and director of museari.com

The challenge behind this edition of Museari Queer Art is to present the exhibition media of virtual museums, along with those of traditional exhibition spaces, in an harmonised manner, so that visitors will be able to follow the exhibition discourse via various art formats where some artworks are original, and some can be viewed by making use of reproduction media and ICTs tools, whose majority requires the spectators’ participation via their mobile devices to access the virtualised content. In this regard, we can surely state that the exhibition addresses a wide variety of dimensions: artistic, inclusive and technological.
