EL fado de Ulises
Face-to-face

La Nau Theatre. By Rodopio d’Ideias

Singular Series

The Fado of Ulysses, written and directed by Claudio Hochman.

By Rodopio de Ideias.

The Fado of Ulysses tells the story of Homer’s Odyssey, using fado—the traditional music of Lisbon—and puppetry as its main artistic devices. On a journey across the turbulent seas of Greek mythology, we are transported into the world of Ulysses, a deeply human hero full of doubts and contradictions, who longs to return home and to the love of Penelope.
