The Universitat de València launches the second edition of the Shadowing mentoring programme for UV postgraduate students, through the Office of the Vice-Principal for Employment and Training Services and UVjob, with the support of Santander Bank.
WHAT DOES SHADOWING MEAN?
This is a mentoring programme, a process whereby a more experienced person (the mentor) guides and helps another (mentee) in his or her professional and personal development through the transmission of knowledge and experiences acquired throughout his or her professional career.
WHO IS AIMED AT?
To official master's degree students of the Universitat de València from the following faculties/centres:
Biological Sciences
Social Sciences
Law
Pharmacy
Physiotherapy
Geography and History
Psychology and Speech Therapy
School of Engineering (ETSE)
GOAL
To improve the employability of postgraduate students at the Universitat de València through a process in which prestigious professionals, on a voluntary and altruistic basis, guide and advise official master's degree students in their professional insertion and/or career development, offering them personalised advice on various topics, through the transfer of experiences, knowledge and experiences generated by the mentors.
PLANNED ACTIONS
The completion of at least three mentoring sessions.
PROGRAMME FORMAT
The modality of the programme will be hybrid: online and/or face-to-face.
ENROLLMENT
Registration for the programme will be open until the 28th February 2022 inclusive.
The provisional publication of those admitted and excluded will be on 8th March 2022 and the definitive list of those admitted will be published on 30th March 2022.
