This free registration conference will focus on the SDGs’ people axis. Registration can be done in person or online. The day will be an opportunity to learn more about the importance of the SDGs and their actual impact on the economy through real experiences.
The Empresocial aula has launched the 3rd Regional Conference ‘Social Entrepreneurship and SDGs’, which will take place in five sessions held in different county capital, each of which will address an axis of the SDGs.
For Gandia, the conference will be held on 21 May throughout the morning and will focus on the people axis, specifically on the headings 1 to 5 of the Sustainable Development Goals. The day will start at 10 am with an institutional presentation. Half an hour later, the director of the Empresocial aula, Pilar Alguacil, will talk about the SDGs and the 2030 agenda. Antonia Sajardo, from the UV Department of Applied Economics, will then explain the challenge of SMEs in the 2030 agenda, while Vicente Carlos Domingo, the director of the World Sustainable Urban Food Centre of València, will address sustainable food. A round table will be held at 12:30 where experiences of good practices regarding the implementation of the SDGs and sustainable economy will be presented. Participants in this round table will include Les Carolines, Integras tú and Associació dones de la mar del the Grau de Gandia.

The programme of these 3rd Regional Conferences will be completed with the conferences to be held on 6 May in Alzira, 27 May in Villamarxant, 10 June in Sagunt and 23 September in València. These are organised by the Empresocial Aula and UVEmpren with the subsidy of the Diputació de Valencia and the support of Divalterra.
