The Lecture Performance is a relatively recent format that has been conceptualised as a hybrid space between art and research. Although its origins can be traced back to the art scene, it has gradually become established in other social and cultural spheres. It is a specific type of presentation that goes beyond the academic format of the lecture and uses aspects of dramaturgy and other artistic disciplines (painting, music or media) to transmit certain knowledge to the public.
