The primary objective of this Master's Degree is to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary for Oral Surgery and Implantology, underpinned by scientific evidence. As part of their postgraduate training, students will learn to consult and critically evaluate scientific literature, ensuring they stay at the forefront of advancements in the field.
Students will benefit from a unique blend of online learning and face-to-face clinical activities. They will participate in clinical practice with patients either at the University or at an internship center affiliated with the University. Students can choose from the centers proposed by the University or select a practice center of their own choice from any country. Throughout the program, students will plan and manage progressively more complex cases, tailored to their individual needs and schedule.
Specific Objectives:
In Oral Surgery, students will develop both theoretical and practical knowledge necessary for performing surgical extractions, fenestrations, periapical surgery, and soft tissue surgery. They will also gain expertise in the surgical treatment of infections, cysts, and tumors. In Implantology, students will learn how to place dental implants and rehabilitate partially or totally edentulous patients using implant-supported prostheses. This includes cases that may require bone grafts or gum grafts.
