The registration period usually opens from February until mid-June each year.
Follow these pre-registration instructions, if it doesn't work, try using another browser. And if you still can't manage it, contact the Faculty of Physics Office through the TiquetingUV of the Faculty of Physics.
Fees are only required for students who hold Bachelor’s degrees from outside the European Higher Education Area (EHEA). These fees correspond to the equivalency study needed to recognize the qualifying degree. This process does not imply, in any case, the official validation of the previous degree or its recognition for any purpose other than accessing master’s studies.
On the MOACV website, in the “HELP AND QUESTIONS” section, you can request assistance or ask questions about the pre-registration and enrollment processes. If it requires a quick solution, you can contact the Secretariat of the Faculty of Physics. Phone: +34 96 354 33 07. TiquetingUV of the Faculty of Physics.
The B1 level of the Spanish language is an admission requirement and must be certified within the application submission period. Only those certificates listed in the Equivalency Table will be accepted as valid.
Check the section for STUDENTS FROM OUTSIDE THE EUROPEAN AREA to see if, in your case, you need to have your Optometry degree RECOGNIZED. This process takes time, so plan accordingly.

PARTIAL Enrollment: with a minimum of 24 to 36 credits (ECTS) per year, if requested. It must be requested through the UV Electronic Headquarters after being admitted, that is, after completing the pre-registration. To request PARTIAL enrollment, a document justifying the reason for the request must be attached (if it's for work, it would be through a work contract; if it's for health reasons, a medical certificate is needed; etc.).
TOTAL Enrollment: is considered when the enrollment includes 36 to 60 ECTS. If you choose this option, no justification is necessary. It would also allow you to complete the Master's in 2 years, but in the first year you must enroll in a minimum of 36 ECTS.
The elective subjects are offered in a single group called "PA," whose instruction will be online through the virtual classroom.
Yes, you can take the Master's with PARTIAL enrollment over 2 years if you balance it with work, as explained in a previous question. You can also do it in a semi-presential format.
Professional experience will be recognized exclusively for the External Practices subject if the student demonstrates at least two years of full-time professional experience, through their Employment History Report and a Certificate from the company where they have carried out their professional work, detailing the position held, the duration, and the tasks performed, emphasizing any specialization aspects outside the usual scope of the optometrist's duties, if applicable.
