Aims: The aim of this programme is to train students to be able to: be part of consolidated research groups already, both national and international, in the fields of the specialisation; opt for the development of teaching and research activities in higher education centres; provide the autonomous communities, from the business sector of human resources to cultural, scientific and journalistic management, with highly qualified professionals with great capacity of adaptation to different job positions. The doctoral studies shall guarantee the acquisition of the basic competences established in the Spanish Qualifications Framework for Higher Education.

Description: The Doctoral Programme in Logics and Philosophy of Science will allow the doctors in the different fields of the area of logics and philosophy of science. The benefit of having doctors trained in this issues is that this training contributes to the development of a society highly trained and which will have professionals highly qualified for formulating, arguing and solving elaborately complex problems. Moreover, the research lines included in this programme already have produced research results that have been transferred in knowledge to public organisations in charge of making decisions. On the other hand, many works coming from these lines have already been published in prestigious international journals.
