Vicente was born in Valencia in 1967. He received the Licenciado en Física degree at the University of Valencia in 1993 and his accreditation as Medical Physicist at Hospital Universitario y Politécnico La Fe in 1999. Since 1999, he is working at Unidad de Radiofísica, Servicio de Oncología Radioterapia, Hospital U. P. La Fe as Senior Medical Physicist with his obligations focused on Radiotherapy and Quality Assurance. Nowadays, his research interest includes the area of Brachytherapy, mainly those aspects related with independent verification of brachytherapy planning system calculations.
