Vicente Gonzalez Millan

Vicente González Millán (Valencia, 1969) is Telecommunications Engineer from Polytechnic University of Valencia (1993). In 1998 he received his PhD in Telecommunications Engineering from Universitat de València. In 1995 he began teaching as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronic Engineering, in 2002 he obtained the position of Associate Professor and in 2016 that of Full Professor. His research career has developed since 1992 to the present day in the field of nuclear instrumentation and particle physics, both for CERN experiments (UA4/2 and ATLAS/LHC) and nuclear physics (EXOGAM2, AGATA, NEDA and TRACE ). He has also worked on beam instrumentation systems on the CERN LEP accelerator. He is coordinator of the Laboratory of Technology for Radiation Detectors of the Universitat de València, member of the Group of Physics and Technology in Nuclear Structure and Applications, Consolidated Research Unit of the Junta de Castilla y León, member of technical committee TC-10 on Signal and Power Integrity of the IEEE Electromagnetic Compatibility Society and member of the IEEE Network Consultants Network.
