Irene Guzmán-Alcón was invited, by Pablo de Olavide Universitym to give a seminar on CEFR descriptors, historical literacy and artificial intelligence.

Her presentation addresses the use of Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) descriptors in the field of historical literacy and explores, through AI-assisted procedures, the extent to which these descriptors can represent the linguistic and discursive demands involved in the discipline of History. The seminar contributes to discussions on the relationship between language and the construction of disciplinary knowledge, while exploring the potential of artificial intelligence to support the analysis of descriptors and disciplinary discourse practices in multilingual educational contexts.
