Appointment of the Committee for the First Edition of the Mediterranean Peace International Award - UNESCO-UV Chair "Global Education in the Mediterranean": Biennial Edition 2023-2024
The UNESCO-UV Chair "Global Education in the Mediterranean" and the Comune di Monteleone di Puglia,
Upon receiving the academic works (Doctoral Theses, Final Degree Projects, Master's Theses, First-Level Triennial Degree, Four-Year, Five-Year, and Second-Level Degrees) for the Mediterranean Peace International Award - UNESCO-UV Chair "Global Education in the Mediterranean", dedicated to the memory of Giovanni Falcone and Paolo Borsellino,
And by which the theme for the 2023-2024 biennial edition is established: "Education for Global Citizenship: Women, Peace, and Sustainable Policies in the Mediterranean", as well as the procedures for evaluating the submitted theses;
CONSIDERING that the participation deadline for the first biennial edition (2023-2024) of the award has closed, making it necessary to proceed with the appointment of the committee for evaluating the received theses;
IN VIEW OF the Regulations of the Mediterranean Peace International Award of the University of Valencia and the Comune di Monteleone di Puglia, which establish the evaluation criteria and the composition of the committee;
CONSIDERING that the evaluation committee must be composed of experts and representatives from the involved institutions;
CONSIDERING that the directors of the UNESCO-UV Chair "Global Education in the Mediterranean", together with the University of Valencia and the Comune di Monteleone di Puglia, have designated ten professors for the thesis evaluation;
IT IS DETERMINED:
- Initiate the procedure for appointing the Committee for the evaluation of the received works and theses for the Mediterranean Peace International Award – UNESCO-UV Chair "Global Education in the Mediterranean", biennial edition 2023-2024.
