For 2020, the Aula has developed the next activities, related with the next topics, from the juridical and economic perspective:
- The generation of economic activity in the rural areas
- The improvement of the environment and the promotion of circular economy
- Digital transformation,
- Circular Economy,
- Social and economic sustainability
- Gender equality
- The companies with positive social impact (Social economy, BCorp, Economy for the Common Good, etc.)
- Activities in the territory
Conferences, workshops and seminars that have been done in the diverse districts from the territory, in collaboration with the City Councils, and based on the detected demand, in matters related to Entrepreneurship, Social economy, and sustainability.
Three courses of action:
- Training seminars “Entrepreneurship in cooperative”, directed to Bachillerato and FOL students
- “Associations management” workshop, directed to general managers and members from the Associations
- District Workshops “Innovative experiences for the rural areas”, that were developed, according to a plan designed inside the framework of 3 years, in most of the districts from the territory of the province. Innovative and successful experiences were tackled
- Other activities of the Aula
- Internships Grants offer for young researchers that have integrated on the team and helped in the organisation of activities, and/or research contract with the same goal
- Emission of grants for the realisation of university studies related to Social economy inside the province
- Workshop/s and/or training seminars and technicians from the Universitat de València
- Research and transfer
Research works with juridical and fiscal content, related to topics worked in the Aulaempresocial:
During 2020, a research work that culminated in the elaboration of a Guide about cohousing cooperatives (transfer of housing in use, in a collaborative way), both juvenile/intergenerational and senior, was done. The Guide includes how to build it, as well as its juridical and fiscal system.
Among the activities that were developed
- The elaboration of a Guide, through the group work of many researchers, in close contact with the sector.
- The publication of the Guide, electronically and in paper,
- Its dissemination through an ad hoc workshop, where successful cohousing models in the national territory were exhibited, as a way to export the model in the province.
