  • When adding narrations, PowerPoint for Office 365 will automatically record slide breaks or they can also be manually set to follow the narrations.
  • In Normal view, click on the slide for which you want to set intervals.
  • In the Transitions tab, in the Interval group under Slide advance, check the After box and then specify the number of seconds you want the slide to appear on the screen. Repeat the process for each slide for which you want to set time.
  • If we want the next slide to appear on mouse click or automatically after the seconds you specify, whichever comes first, we check the On mouse click and After checkboxes.
  • We can use manual slide breaks for the final cut of a recorded slide segment. For example, if the end of a slide segment concludes with two seconds of unnecessary audio, we would simply set the intervals to advance to the next slide before the unnecessary audio starts. This way we won't have to re-record the audio for that slide.
