DRAC grants

The DRAC Programme provides financial grants for students to attend courses, seminars, research stays or other on-site activities organised by the Xarxa Vives, by the universities participating in the programme, and for other specific activities detailed in the regulations.

The amount awarded covers part of the accommodation, registration and travel expenses, with the aim of promoting the mobility of undergraduate, master’s and doctoral students among the universities of the Xarxa Vives participating in the DRAC Programme, which can be consulted at www.vives.org/programes/mobilitat under the section “Participating universities”

Call for Applications 2025-2026

 
Elegible applicants

Students enrolled at centres belonging to the Universitat de València in official undergraduate, master’s or doctoral studies at the time the activity is carried out.

For undergraduate studies, applicants must have at least 12 approved credits recorded in their academic transcript at the time of application. This requirement does not apply to official master’s or doctoral studies.

Application deadline

The application period will remain open from the date of publication of this call in the DOGV until 15 September 2026.

Applications will be resolved within a maximum period of one month from the final date for submission.

Applications must always be submitted before the date on which the activity takes place, regardless of whether the decision is issued afterwards. Under no circumstances will applications be accepted for activities that have already been carried out.

Requirements for activities

DRAC grants may be requested to carry out any of the following activities, provided that they involve travel to a university located at least 50 km away:

  • Courses, seminars, research stays or other on-site activities organised by universities participating in the DRAC Programme or by the Xarxa Vives of Universities.
  • “Monologues of the Science Club” competition.
  • Universitat Catalana d’Estiu (Catalan Summer University).
  • Escola de Formació Guillem Agulló.
  • Congress of Catalan Culture.

Exclusions and incompatibilities

The following activities are excluded:

  • Non-face-to-face activities.
  • Classes, courses, seminars, stays or other activities that form part of the curriculum of the degree programme being studied by the applicant.
  • Students from mobility programmes (Erasmus, SICUE and other long-term mobility programmes) who come to study at the Universitat de València.
  • Students enrolled in non-official degrees.

These grants are compatible with other forms of financial aid, provided that the total amount does not exceed the cost of the subsidised activity.

Financial allocation

The grant covers accommodation, registration and travel expenses. In no case are living or subsistence expenses included.

On the one hand, a maximum amount of 450.00 is established to cover accommodation, registration and enrolment fees (where applicable) for the activity for which the grant is requested. Regardless of the duration of the activity, this amount will be calculated for a maximum of 15 days.

On the other hand, the maximum amount for travel expenses is set in accordance with the table established by the Xarxa Vives of Universities.

Procedure stages and required documentation

1. Publication of the regulations
Pending publication in the DOGV.

2. Application for the grant
Applications must be submitted, duly completed, using the form available on the Electronic Office of the Universitat de València.

The following documentation must be submitted together with the application:

  • Programme of the activity for which the grant is requested.
  • Copy of the academic transcript, indicating the average grade out of 10, of the qualification giving access to official master’s or doctoral studies, if these were not completed at the Universitat de València.
  • If applying for a departmental research stay, the approval of both the home university and the host university must be submitted using Annex IV.

3. Award of grants and acceptance
Once the award decision has been published, beneficiaries must accept the grant using the model provided in Annex II. The form, duly completed and signed by the beneficiary, must be submitted within 10 working days from the day following the publication of the award on the Tauler d'anuncis of the Universitat de València, through the UV Electronic Office, attaching the document to the same procedure that was opened when the application was submitted.

Once the grant has been accepted, beneficiaries will proceed directly to the justification stage, as indicated below.

4. Justification and payment
Beneficiaries must submit the following supporting documentation by attaching it to the application procedure already opened through the UV Electronic Office, within one month from the grant resolution:

  • Certificate of attendance signed by the host institution.
  • Financial report (Annex III).
  • Invoices, tickets and other supporting documents for registration, travel and accommodation expenses.

Failure to justify the grant within the established deadline will result in its automatic revocation.
