The UV issues the European Diploma Supplement (EDS) to students who have completed their studies after the entry into force of the RD. 1044/2003, which establishes the procedure for its issuance by universities.

The EDS is the document that accompanies each official university diploma and is valid throughout the national territory. It has unified information for all Europe and is customised for each university graduate, on their studies, the results obtained, the professional skills acquired and the level of their qualification in the national higher education system.

Its main objective is to facilitate the recognition of the academic CV in companies and national and foreign institutions.
The EDS is issued in three languages (Spanish, Valencian and English).

The EDS started to be issued in 2015 and students who graduated earlier may not have received it yet. Once the EDS arrives at the centre, the student will receive an email informing that it is ready to be collected. To know the approximate date when your EDS will be available, which depends on the course in which you graduated, contact the Secretary’s office.

Undergraduate students who graduated between the date of the entry into force of the RD. 1044/2003 (academic year 2003-04) and September 2010 can request and pay the EDS by sending an email to fac.biologiques@uv.es.
