Application for registration of new users

The LIMS platform of the University of Valencia allows online management of service requests, equipment reservations, results delivery and invoicing of the Scientific and Technological Services of the University of Valencia, including the Central Support Service for Experimental Research (SCSIE).

User registrations can be internal or external.

INTERNAL users are users whose entity responsible for the payment of the services is the University of Valencia, and the payment will be processed through an INTERNAL compensation (CI).

Only the Researcher in charge (IP) of the research and responsible for the funds against which the invoice is made has to apply for registration in the UV Lims platform.

Once registration is completed, the IP will proceed to register the collaborating staff, who will be able to request services, take samples or receive the corresponding results.

Application for registration as an internal user.

EXTERNAL users are users whose entity or company responsible for the payment of the services is NOT the University of Valencia, and payment will be processed through an invoice against the corresponding CIF/NIF.

This category includes researchers from public research agencies (Opis) or any company or individual who needs the services.

Only the user responsible (IP) of the research and responsible for the billing has to apply for registration on the UV Lims platform.

Once registered, it will be the responsible user (IP) who will proceed to register collaborating staff.

Application for registration as an external user.

In any case, the application for membership implies is legally capable to accept the terms and conditions for the use and billing of the UV scientific-technological services.

Users designated by the applicant must have the competence and meet the necessary requirements to use the equipment and/or the UV scientific-technological services, and will be responsible for any incident that may arise. Furthermore, they undertake to inform, where appropriate, of any possible biological or other risks that may arise.

In the event that the provision of services consists of the supply and/or shipment of biological material, the applicant declares their organisation is aware of the current regulations, has adequate facilities and staff to manage microorganisms, and accepts the conditions established in the CECT MTA (Material transfer agreement of the Spanish Type Culture Collection).
