The full university professor of the UV Ramón Sala has been reelected as the President of the Asociación Española de Profesores Universitarios de Matemáticas para la Economía y la Empresa (Spanish Association of University Teachers of Mathematics for Economy and Business) (ASEPUMA). The general assembly of the association has been held in the Faculty of Economics and Business of the Universidad de Málaga.
Ramón Sala Garrido is full professor in the Department of Mathematics for Economy and Business. Vice-Principal of Economics, Planning and Infrastructure of the UV between 1990 and 1994, and the manager of the Department of Mathematics for Economy and Business between 1998 and 2004, he is the author of over 70 scientific articles in journals. He is also the author or the co-author of over 45 books, book chapters and monographs, and he has introduced over 150 lectures, presentations and conferences.
He was the founding member of the Asociación Española de Profesores Universitarios de Matemáticas para la Economía y la Empresa. He is a member of the Board of directors from 1996. From 2011, he is the president of the association aforementioned.
