The registration period for the Creative Writing Open Classroom of the Universitat is open

The registration period for the Creative Writing Open Classroom of the Universitat de València opens today, Wednesday 20th September. Authors with a wide career teach seven Creative Writing workshops about theatre, short story, poetry and short film script.

These workshops use a practical methodology and they are aimed to offer training and to help gaining skills to face the creative writing of all genres of fiction, theatre, poetry and short film script. There are seven workshops, each one lasting 20 hours, which will be distributed between October, November and December 2017. They may involve both the students of the Universitat de València and the rest of the citizens. There are limited places and they will be covered by registration order, starting the 20th September until 15th October 2017.

Eva Zapico for the teather writing workshop, Francesc Rodrigo and Bibiana Collado for the Valencian and Spanish poetry workshops, Carlos Aimeur and Bárbara Blasco for the Spanish prose fiction workshops, Raquel Ricart for the Valencian prose fiction workshop and Pau Martínez for the short film script workshop are part of the teaching staff.

The Creative Writing Open Classroom workshops are a proposal from the Information Service and Student’s Promotion (Sedi) in cooperation with the Office of the Vice-Principal for Culture (Reading and Writing Classroom, Cinema Classroom, Performing Arts Classroom and Poetry Classroom) and the Office of the Vice-dean for Culture, Equality and Communication of the Faculty of Language Studies, Translation and Communication of the Universitat de València.
