Researchers meet to reflect on transparency, democracy and transformation in educational research

Thousands of researchers meet in Valencia to reflect on transparency, democracy and transformation in educational research. The 4th edition of CIMIE (Multidisciplinary International Congress of Educational Research) organised by AMIE (Multidisciplinary Association of Educational Research) is carried out on 2 and 3 July in Blasco Ibáñez Campus of Universitat de València.

This forth edition has successfully overcome the number of participation: 1.146 enrolled participants from 29 different countries, and researchers from 153 universities.
 
The five principles established in the creation of CIMIE are the professional competence; the integrity; the professional, scientific and academic responsibilities; the social utility; and the respect to the human rights, dignity and diversity.
 
In the opening, Thursday in Aula Magna of the Faculty of Medicine of UV (09:30h) participate Ramón López (vice-principal of Education and Quality Policies of UV), Rocío García (University of Deusto, representing from AMIE to WERA –Washington Educational Research Association) and Irma Eloff ( World Educational Research Association).
 
The opening will end with the intervention of Marta Soler (Universitat de Barcelona) under the title “How to write an article awarded with the Best Paper Prize in Cambridge Journal of Education?”
