The office of the Vice-Principal for Participation and Territorial Projection organizes a meeting with the associations and groups which are within the sphere of influence of the University tomorrow at the Jardí Botánic. The goal of this meeting is to build bridges with the institutes of regional, municipal or supra-municipal studies. These associations are characterized by their work on different disciplines (from local history to environment).
IDECOs are groups committed and aware of the problems of the current territorial situation.
The meeting, called Trobada Universitat de València-IDECOs, receives the FIECOV (the federation of regional studies institutes), which wanted to collaborate in the organization of the event from the first moment.
The Vice-Principal for Participation and Territorial Projection, Jorge Hermosilla, has declared that the meeting is a space for dialogue and debate, willing to receive any collaboration. It is a space which will provide future initiatives and solutions; in essence, it is a space of mutual enrichment, which will depend on the will of the people involved.
