Calender for implementation and phasing out
The updated curriculum for the undergraduate degree in Physics will take effect in the 2010-2010 academic year. According to Article 11.3 of the Royal Decree 1497/1987, of 27 November, the curriculum leading to an official 5-year degree in Physics at the University of Valencia will be phased out, as published in the Official State Gazette (BOE) of 14 September 2000. The four years of the undergraduate degree will be introduced simultaneously and completely. The 5-year degree in Physics will be gradually phased out starting in 2010-2011, with four exam attempts per subject in the following two academic years after the courses have been phased out. Once the exam attempts have been used up, students are required to adapt to the updated degree programme.
