Calender for implementation and phasing out
The updated curriculum for the degree in Tourism will take effect in the 20010-2011 academic year and will gradually be introduced. According to Article 11.3 of the Royal Decree 1497/1987, of 27 November, the curriculum will be phased out for the studies leading to an official 3-year degree in Tourism at the University of Valencia, as published in the Official State Gazette (BOE) of 3 December 1997. The 3-year degree will be phased out in parallel with the introduction of the undergraduate degree. Four exam attempts (two per academic year) will be maintained for students who are taking phased-out classes and if the exam attempts are used up, these students must be incorporated into the updated degree programme.
