'Memories of the Pittance', by Fermín Alegre
Dramatic reading. The 'Memories of the Pittance' arose as a result of literary-gastronomic evenings conceived at the Ateneo out twenty years ago. A companion invited in his house for dinner, the only requirement to attend was to bring under the arm a story written with a topic set in the previous dinner. On that occasion the theme was the food, so did these memories of the pittance, in part autobiographical and written in the first person. The facts that are narrated and the characters that appear are not the result of the invention of Fermin, are facts, anecdotes related with the world of food, which has been the site of his father, a member of your family, a friend, or someone you know or the same.
