Content of the course:
The reflection on the role of local governments has to combine nowadays many factors: an important economic and social crisis, the EU pressure and the comparative experiences, as well as the process of institutional and political change in Spain. Thinking about the future constitutional reform, and baring in mind the failed reform of the local regime of 2013, this course aim to debate this matter more thoroughly about how to face a new future model.
