The karate team of the Universitat de València plays today, 13 February, the Regional Sport University Championship (CADU), which will take place at the municipal sports pavilion of L’Eliana and where the athletes of the Universitat de València will try to revalidate the autonomic championship title.

The last course, the karate players of the team won 26 medals in the championship (6 golds, 6 silvers and 14 bronzes) and in this occasion, the team leaded by Arturo Olmedo faces the event “with the hope of being able to revalidate the title one more year”. Despite we have several important injuries (many national medal winners already finished their studies) we have tried to renew the team in order to try to win the gold again”.

A total of 27 athletes between elite athletes and future promises of sport will represent the Universitat de València in this event, which will start at 16:00, first with the Katas modality and then with the Kumite.
