With this activity, we aim at acknowledging other art histories in which women are the main characters as well achieving the substitution of an only gaze fro a plural one in which diversity is abundant. They are artists on their own merits. They have been autonomous and independent and their work, in all cases, has become prestigious in the latter year, which aided them to separate their work from the lower classes to which, contemptuously, women affairs have always been relegated. They have self-empowered to report the still current patriarchal laws in society, those which have made women go crazy to meet stereotypical expectations: being a good mother, a good woman, a good wife and having the ability to raise children. Their critical, voluntary, constant and deliberated ability for representation has allowed them to talk thorugh their art about things the patriarchal society had been hiding behind a somkescreen. Hence, their works -marked by the reality they have had to live- has allowed us to become conscious of how they have contributed to society thanks to their works and political thoughts in a reporting reality reigned by activism on women’s rights.
