Título: Differentially rotating compact stars
Lugar: Seminario del DAA. Edificio Investigación Jeroni Muñoz, planta cuarta, en Burjassot.
Día: lunes, 11 de mayo de 2026. Hora: 12:00.
Resumen:
In this talk, we examine the application of the Uryu’s four-parameter differential rotation law for constructing rotating compact stars. We focus on two distinct scenarios: hybrid stars undergoing first-order phase transition from hadronic to color superconducting quark matter, and neutron stars with dark matter cores. For both cases we explore quasi-toroidal and quasi-spherical solutions and their global properties. We further examine the internal structure and the rotation profiles of those exotic configurations.
