On October 25th, Altura Town Council will host the 5th technical dissemination conference: Scientific studies in the Sierra Calderona Natural Park.

The programme, which will run from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., aims to raise awareness of the latest scientific studies carried out in the Natural Park, which help to understand the functioning of its ecosystem and biodiversity.

CSIC researcher at CIDE, Miguel Verdú, will give a talk entitled: Facilitation between plants in the Serra Calderona Natural Park. In his talk, he will explain the advances in knowledge of facilitation between plants in the Sierra Calderona, obtained from studies carried out with the Facilitón project. Funded within the Prometeo Programme of the Generalitat Valenciana (CIPROM/2021/063).

It is possible to attend this conference either in person in the plenary hall of the Town Hall or online. However, registration via infocalderona@gva.es is required.
