Plant-soil interactions and their importance in ecological restoration
Any restoration project is grounded in ecological theory while simultaneously serving as the ultimate test for validating our theories regarding ecosystem functioning. Practical case studies demonstrate how interactions can be utilized in restoration, as well as their current limitations.

Tenured Scientist at the CSIC since 2023. PhD in Biology, specializing in the study of ecological interactions and their applications in restoration. My work focuses on applying ecological theory concepts to the restoration of biodiversity and ecosystem functions. I also dedicate part of my work to knowledge transfer to public and private entities. I currently advise the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge on the Framework of Priority Actions for the Recovery of the Mar Menor.
