Anoop Madhok is Professor of Strategy and the Distinguished Scotiabank Professor in International Business & Entrepreneurship at the Schulich School of Business, York University, Toronto, Canada. His work spans the domains of strategic management and global business and his research interests include interfirm collaboration, economic organization and firm boundaries, among others. His current research addresses digital platforms and ecosystems, with a particular emphasis on their governance.

Among the numerous distinctions received by professor Madhok we may find the Global Strategy Journal Best Paper Award in 2019. He was also identified as one of 8 academics who are considered as both prolific and influential in global strategy (Journal of International Management). He received the Journal of International Business Studies Paper of the Decade Award (2005). His research has been published in top-ranked journals like Strategic Management Journal, Academy of Management Journal, Organization Science, Journal of International Business Studies, Global Strategy Journal and Journal of International Management, among others.
