Admission to doctoral programs may include the requirement of specific training complements. These specific training complements must be completed during the initial phase of thesis development, within a maximum period of one academic year, and will be considered doctoral-level training for the purposes of public fees and the granting of scholarships and study aids.
For students with an entrance profile different from that recommended (Master's degree in the fields of Chemistry, Life Sciences, Earth and Environmental Sciences), specific training complements corresponding to Master's level studies are included. The specific training complements can be carried out simultaneously with the activities of the doctoral programme.
The specific training complements to be taken, with a total of 18 credits, are two subjects of the inter-university "Master's Degree in Environmental Engineering" of the Universitat de València and the Universitat Politècnica de València.
1. Environmental quality assessment. 9 credits.
2. Transport of contaminants in the natural environment. 9 credits
